Meet the Founder

Founder and President of Ideal Practice Solutions, LLC, Gerald Flouhouse, Jr. has been delivering impactful and customized solutions in the healthcare industry since 1994.

In his early career, he served in office management and consultant roles in his home state of Tennessee. During these five years, he developed the foundation for the rest of his career. He developed key skills in revenue cycle management, strategic planning, healthcare administration, and clinical management, which has been vital to his success.

In the following years, Gerald worked his way to serving as CEO for SouthMed Solutions and Carolina Digestive Health Associates. His experience encompasses all aspects of budgeting, compensation, design/build of new centers, MSO service delivery, performance management, and physician recruitment. Gerald has been involved with these types of services in all types of settings including hospitals, medical practices, and ambulatory surgery centers. Through his effective leadership, he was able to guide these organizations to have streamlined operations, higher performance rates, and expanded service offerings.

In 2018, Gerald launched a new venture, Ideal Practice Solutions, LLC. Due to everchanging healthcare climates and lower reimbursements, he saw the need for medical practices to have access to an expert on hand in order to enhance efficiencies, grow revenue, and save significantly in costs. Further, Gerald and his team wanted to elevate their services even more by creating an analytical dashboard software used to complete reporting, analyze billing/RCM services, and make recommended viable and long-term solutions. With Ideal Practice Solutions, Gerald aims to deliver customized services focused on improving inefficiencies, implementing scalable solutions, and ultimately enjoyable workdays for doctors.
